That will be the question that will be asked of me today. Yesterday was a beautiful spring day almost 70 degrees. So Little Bubby and I had a play date at the park. Yes this grandma, up and down the slides, running to keep up with a very active 2 and a half year old. One minute we are playing, the next we are riding our bike. He even tried to see if his grandma could still run. No she can’t, at least not fast enough to catch him going down hill at a high rate of speed. Praise God for a good Samaritan at the bottom to stop little boys that have not mastered the use of BRAKES!
Well after a very busy afternoon with the grand and supper, my niece calls and wants me to come over. “Auntie we are going to get grandma, you wanna come over and look at pictures? We can even play bowling on the Wii!” Okay I would love to see the pictures, so I go. So we bowl, hey I finally got my 200 game, not bad for first time playing on a Wii, wish it could be in real life on bowling night. Well bowling was okay, but then Miss Niece decides we need to play the carnival games. Remember the old game of strength that you sling the mallet and ring the bell? Well you have to shake this control, with your arm and body, till you build up enough ump to swing the mallet and ring the bell. Meanwhile you are looking absolutely ridiculous, which at this point I tell Miss Niece she really should pull the curtains so people going by don’t think we have lost our minds. Then my mother the one that is wise beyond her years spouts off ” thought you are suppose to make it ring the bell” Yeah mom if you have enough ump to get it up that high. Who ever said kids don’t get exercise playing video games? Well get them this game and they will get plenty.
Oh I almost forgot, you wanna know how bad it hurts? Well lets just say, after a couple cups of coffee and typing with one hand, calling in a massage therapist, I think I will make it through the day. LOL just joking but I can say I do feel some mussels today that I forgot I had.
Today and tomorrow promise to be more nice days before our spring blizzard hits on monday. So that may hurt to!!!

I’ve only seen the Wii once. We were at some friends’ house and their kids have one. One of them challenged Rob to boxing. My husband was dripping sweat by the time he was done playing. He got a good workout! I think his muscles were a tiny bit sore the next day!
Little Bubby looks more like his daddy every day! What a little cutie!
